Collision involving OPP cruiser on Christmas Day

Lennox and Addington County OPP say there were no serious injuries after a collision involving an OPP cruiser in Greater Napanee.

The collision between two vehicles happened on Christmas Day at around 6 p.m. on Bridge Street West.

Lennox and Addington County Detachment was responding to a priority call and was attempting to locate a suspect’s vehicle when the collision happened.

Police say both vehicles were travelling slowly at the time.

The officer was taken to hospital as a precaution while one of the two people in the other vehicle was checked out by Lennon and Addington County paramedics.

The investigation is ongoing.
