An 11-year veteran with the OPP has been charged following a two-vehicle crash in Erin.
At about 6 p.m. on Monday (July 17), members of Wellington County OPP were called to the collision occurring on Wellington County Road 22 near Concession 10.
The preliminary investigation by police has revealed the OPP cruiser was travelling north on Concession 10 and failed to stop at the intersection before striking a vehicle headed east. Nobody was injured in the crash.
Following the police investigation, the OPP has charged the officer involved in the crash under Ontario’s Highway Traffic Act.
Const. Sukhvinder Toor, an 11-year veteran with the OPP, is charged with disobeying a stop sign — failing to stop. The charge has not been proven in court.
