An Oxford County OPP officer has been issued a provincial offences notice following a collision last week in Zorra Township.

The crash occurred on March 12, 204 just after 8 am.

OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators say the officer was driving a fully marked cruiser while responding to a serious call on Road 88 and was unable to stop for oncoming traffic on Road 19. The cruiser hit oncoming vehicle. Both vehicles were heavily damaged and both drivers were treated in hospital for minor injuries.

Sergeant Terry Mroz, a 31-year-member of the OPP, has been ticketed for Fail to Yield.
